Subject: Desktop color MFP IP: Logged
Message: I need some recommendations on desktop color mfp's. We sold some KM machines in the past(2590, 4690) but they don't seem to hold up. Lots of board failures etc. Right now its between kyocera fsc1020 and oki mc560. Which one would you sell?
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dave

Message: Had an Oki MC560 out and ended up taking it back. Several problems that Oki can't or won't correct. The printer portion is good but the doc feed is a joke. I'm not selling anymore color MFP's under a $1500. Haven't found a reliable one yet. Best bet is to sell a stand alone color printer and a B/W MF unit. Canon ICD1150/70/80 is good for lower end. Lexmark for higher end

Message: Kyocera has NEVER had a good color box. Usually low
TCO, but bad output and unreliable. I avoid desktop
color sales until a good model comes before me I'll
continue to. -Cope

Message: X2 Cope, it's like the old Mita days. They never did make a decent box that started with a 4 until the 4035.
