Had one yesterday. It was the LVPS. Easy enough to check the fuser components with a meter. If they all check out then 90% chance it's the LVPS.

i replaced the fixing unit, and i followed procedure included in the maintenance kit. These steps are only effective to reset maintenance counters, if the machine had already going to a service code , you have into service mode and reset the code.

there is no reset. if you have already replaced the fuser unit and are experiencing the same code, it is most likely the lvps

Definitely the LVPS. Should have replace it BEFORE the fuser.

Something else on 8150's, for some reanson when you remove the power cord they lose all settings....so if you can, print out a config page before unplugging. I've only seen bad LVPS on 8150's.
