Subject: Is there a 'small' desktop 11x17 copier out there? IP: Logged
Message: I want to start offering 11x17 copiers to customers that do not take up a lot of space and dont weigh a ton (the copiers/not the customer)- are there any units I should look at?
Thanks.

Message: Sharp AR-M207 style machines are about as compact as an 11x17 can be. Although I suppose the old Sharp SF-7700 of about 20 years ago was smaller, but that's not much help.
The m207s are easy to pickup and move around with those neat lift grips on them. I think they only weight about 80 lbs. I trust them for low volume but would feel nervous at mroe than 3K or so, but that's because I'm still recovering from their early ancestors (ar-160/200) problems 10 years ago!

Message: The Konica-Minolta Bizhub 180/181 is a good choice for a lightweight 11x17 machine that will fit on a desktop (sigle tray version). Standard usb print. Optional duplex, network print, scan and fax.

Message: The smallest Savin I believe is the 9016/9021 for current series. Previous was 8016/8021 then 4016/4021. Would not want to go older in that you lose connectivity options. The 40's and 80's in this segment cannot scan to SMB folder. Had Scanrouter Lite and e-mail only. The 90's this could be added as an option.
These are still a decent size machine. Not huge but is a two person move unless you are a large person.

Message: The Mita 1255 would copy 11x17 to 8.5x11 reduced but not 11x17 to 11x17. Sold a lot of 1205's but the 1255 was not a big seller.
