We have a GA1040 on an e-Studio 35.
The vista driver will not work with Windows 7.
Are we out of luck or is there a workaround?
I know some programs you can run in XP mode, but I don't see how this would apply to a print driver.

Have you tried "Windows Update" instead of "Have Disk" during the install. I have only had one MFP that did not work with the Vista/XP drivers on Windows 7. Did the "Windows Update" and everything worked.

To use the win vista driver ( I do not know if it will work but you can try) do a manual add printer not the setup wizard. the wizard will not install it.
