Message: I get a knocking sound, like gears not meshing at the right side door of the machine. Only 31,000 copies, when you push on the right side door the noise goes away. I thought it might have been the gear on the PCU unit, eliminated that, tinkered w/ the tension of the tranfer assy. on the front side that meshes w/ the drum and noise goes away. First time had this problem. Any Help ? gear on transfer roller looks good, door shuts okay.

Message: transfer roller end bushing is cracked. look closely, its probably a hairline, but when drive torque is applied to the transfer roller gear its enough to separate the crack and allow the gear to skip making the noise. ive seen this many times and its always the same problem.
