Subject: Canon 1670 F bubbles? IP: Logged
Message: I usually have no problems with this class of machine but this is the second one in a week thats given me a problem. The machine worked fine until I cleaned it then the copies come out with the look of bubbles randomly over the image. Different shapes in different places. I think its a high voltage problem. I checked for shorts exchanged a few parts to no satisfaction. Any Ideas?

Message: Yeah, sounds like a charge problem to me also I swapped out the entire processing unit (drum & toner) also looked for buildup that would cause a arc. Im an old tech I remember similar problems from the analog days too.
Thanks for the input..........Bob
