Just did a PM on this machine and am getting it ready for resale. The problem is that when copying the fill is poor but when I print something it looks good. What do I need to adjust and where can I find it? it happens from the glass and adf.

Well if optics are clean...old drum can cause weird copies like that. Also check the mylar dev seal, they warp and it rubs on drum. (printing goes at different resolution hence different density)

If the copies are okay in the print mode but not in the copy mode, then it's the optics. If the optics are clean and okay, the last next thing to check is the laser unit especially the mirror in the LD unit. I had this problem several times and all were fixed from the LD unit.Be careful in cleaning the LD unit.
