Customer called about a black stripe on prints. I diagnose it to be a bad transfer belt. Customer wants the drum assembly done at the same time. I replaced the drum, cleaning blade, charge roller, transfer belt and cleaning blade.

Now my pages are solid black. I went through everything again and rebuilt them with the same results.

Do I have a bad charge roller or is there something else I should be looking at? ie...ground?

Thanks for any help.

Jeff

Indeed, no charge. The little metal lip on the rear of the pcu (which make contact with chassis) is bent or broken?

I saw that the tip was indeed bent. Pulled it out and now the prints are perfect.

Thanks for the help.
