Subject: Sharp MX printing IP: Logged
Message: This MX makes a great copy but when printing it acts like its in toner save mode, kind of washed.
the us publisher mostly which won't let me make adjustment when sending a print. Any thoughts?

Message: On this model the Copy and Print side must be calibrated seperatly. From what I see most techs do is just calibrate the copy side and not the print side as well. That might be your issue,
Also what MX are you speaking of? The options are different between the series but I will try to guide you best I can.
Check these Settings may differ a lil depending on your MX
System Settings > Printer Settings > Default Settings > Option=Print Density Setting should be 3 or higher depending on ur preference.
Also
System Settings > Printer Condition Settings > Inital Resolution= should be 600x600

Message: it is an MX3100n. I did preform color balance on the copier side. Did not know of printer being seperate.

Message: Both color balances have been prformed. Sharp said I need to update the firmware, and the drivers have already been updated to PL6. Problem is I cant log onto Sharp right now and the will be down Friday.

Message: Ok Firmware and drivers are all updated. I can adjust on the driver now for correct print, but at the standerd setting it is still very light.
