 Subject: Sharp MX-3501 Password

I need to change the IP address before I sell/deliver this machine and it has a password for the admin. I did the 24-30 initializing to clear it but it is still there. Any suggestions?

did you try "admin"? all lower case. That is a default password on a lot of the sharps.

make sure sharp has a capital "S"
Might also be
User:Sharp
password:admin
This is what the default should be.
If not this is how to reset it.
This works for these models
MX-2300N 2600N 2700N 3100N 3500N 3501N 4501N
5500N 6200N 6201N 7000N 7001N
Access simulation mode with the following key sequence from the machine control
panel; P - * - C - *. Enter 24 and start and then 30 and start. This is test command 24-
30. The screen will say admin password initialize. Press the execute button, then yes.
This will set the default administrator password of admin at both the machine and on
the imager webpage.
