Is this drum unit rebuildable like the minolta and imagistics models?? Does this model shut down once limit is reached? Spec says 84K the unit I'm servicing has 76K. Could not find fuse on drum unit so I wonder if the dev is chipped. Not sure if I want to try my luck. Feeling more like an a**hole than a hero. Is there a sim that stops the machine from shutting down? Much like the toner sim, stop or single copy. tough to read this pirated Intravia manual:P Just kidding Jim, sit back down! Your thoughts gentleman!

Katun has a rebuild kit. I have done a couple for the MFX-2500, but not this one. The MFX-2500 kit came with a new fuse that had to be soldered in place to reset the machine.

2830 gotta change drum/dev unit when they did 2850 made
drum and dev unit split apart to change each unit.
there is a way to reset in an emergency but best to replace
unit check your email
