 Subject: Sharp AR-M350/450 Scan

Got a question about scan. My customer has a few KM 7255 with the scan/print option and Sharp AR-M350N's. He wants to contiune using "Scan-Trip" for secutiry reasons. ( scan-trip is a "pull scan" program provied by Konica, The user scans to a box on the controller HDD and then with the software they pull it.)
From what I can see the Sharps' have no scan to box/ "pull scan" feature. Even if you add the HDD option.
Am I right about the Sharps'?
I also have AR-M355N/455N, and AR-M550N, is this the same situation?

I believe you can add like an ftp folder on the HDD but I am not sure.
I am guessing this program basicly saves your scan to the imager HDD and this program on their computer pulls it off?
One question is sharpdesk to difficult for them use? It just sounds easier to scan directly to the pc and be done with it.
Also I do know you can set up folder with the document filing feature however I am unsure if the konica program can access these folders since I am not familiar with it.

Thanks for the replies, I convinced my customer to STFU and use FTP. The IT manager is a good guy. Thanks again.
