Lee I made one years ago
Techs never followed it, anyone can mark off a list. Like the guy at the lube shop at the OEM car dealer who checked off that he had checked my battery, only to have it fail two days later and when I took the battery cover off the terminal was covered by 2 inches of corrosion growth.

I spent lots of time on mine, and you must make one for each machine specifically or it means nothing. The list is more a reminder to the tech of the special peculiarity to a model that need a specific clean -oil-adjust - or check

But if you just want a check list most OEM service manuals have one ---- take one and make it generic if you like, they use things like x for replace o for clean and at what interval.

a big problems with that, it not all calls are PMs
all environments are different and thus one machine after 30 days is filthy and another after 6 months is still clean.,. some are high volume some are low volume
and low volume causes age problems not calculated in the OEMs list.

in the end if you are training newbies this is OK

but - guys who think they know will do as they think and not really follow the list, you might as well put the check marks on the original before you make them.

The ultimate idea of keeping data base on techs work and call backs is not one of list, but one of expertise. the person supervising needs to know and recognize the good tech from the BSing tech. and paper work is not going to get it,

I used my list for years to help ME do a better job, but as new machines came and my old one went away... I never made news ones..I do wish I had them for the new ones but boy is that a lot of work and they need modified as experience with specific model problems occur.

Follow-up and see for yourself. I use my phone's camera if it's viewable dust. Hard for someone to claim they cleaned when you have a picture that say's other wise. Then reward for good work, for me it dosn't have to be anything big. Its just nice to get an atta-boy with $ or treats sometimes. ( time off/early off )
