That is a laser power adjustment error. Never had one before so can speak from experience. Service handbook only suggest to check all the connectors leading off the PLG board and if the connectors check out then to replace the PLG board or the Laser Unit.
I don't make the news, I just report it. Maybe someone else has something field tested to add ... I don't.
