@ trun on, stays in the download mode. Unable to enter test mode. Would the sst solve this issue and where would I get this?

If that is an IC-MF6590 the problem is the IP board. About $240 or more dealer cost but I hear that nationwide fixes them for about $75. Can't get into serice mode when that is present.

Yup IP-PCB Call Nationwide. I sold them 3 cores so
they may still have one for adv. exchange. VERY
common on all the 65*0's -Cope
