Subject: HP LaserJet 9000 error 49.c02 IP: Logged
Message: All the book says is 49.X critical firmware error.
Can anyone out there elaborate on this.
Haven't been there yet to run a event log. Just
talked to cust, they've already power cycled it.
49 error comes back.
TIA, Gordon

Message: Before rebooting, go into the printer queue and cancel all pending jobs. Then reboot and see whether it was a print job that kept making the error come back before replacing parts

Message: I've also seen this message pop up if the print job is too complex for the printer to handle.

Message: Went out on this today. Error was gone when I got
there.(of course) Ran the event log. Saw only two
occurances of 49.c02 (c02? isn't that carbon di-
oxide?)......Sorry. Anyway, previous to that was
five in a row 57.03.00, which are fan errors.
Anyone have a thought about the 57's being related to the 49?
