 Subject: Lexmark Optra T-612 invalid engine code error

Not really up to snuff on this product. It will reset after several reboots. Do I need to replace the engine board, print controller or connector board? My help desk said 1 of those 3 boards but I would really would like to know which one since its billable to my customer. Any help would be appreciated.

You should probably try downloading and flashing the Engine code and Firmware Code before you throw boards at it. I am sure if you google "lexmark firmware" you will find out how to do it.

Thanks. I will try flashing it today. Does the printer have to be in flash mode for this.
