Message: Worked on a lot of these but never seen this. After the pages exit the printer, it will stop running like normal, display says ready then after about 5 seconds the printer endine will energize, bump just for a second, then about 5 more sec it will bump again. It does it from a print job and from internal print. It isnot afecting anything, other than that printer is fine. Customer is curious and so am I.
Many Thanks, Bill T.

Message: Rotates the fixing film so one spot is not in contact with the heading element and the pressure roller at the same time, based on film temperature. The need for this was eliminated in the 4250 and 4350 due to different fuser designs. HP tech told me this right after the swing plate issue started to come up back in the day.

Message: I know what i3fusionguy is talking about but I don't remember seeing that on a LJ 4200; at least not every 5 seconds. I wonder if the fuser is going bad; do you have any 50 errors in the event log?

Message: It only does it twice, 5 sec intervals. The event log only list 13.03.00 three times.
