 Subject: Samsung CLX-3170fn lead edge reg issue

I have a Samsung CLX-3160fn with a lead edge registration problem. . .
The paper seems to be late by a cm or so. . .this puts the image right to the tip of the paper. If you are printing colour pictures, this has lead to jams in the fuser.
I have replaced the registration clutch, cleaned the reg rollers. Removed the belt on the right side of the printer which drives the MP tray rollers to no avail!
Not sure what the next step is. .
Any thoughts on this?

SUBJECT: Mis-feeding in pickup assembly
CAUSE: Lack of friction from rubber on pickup roller
REPAIR: The pickup roller has been modified to increase friction. Replace the
roller with the new part (Part No. JC73-00302A).
Do NOT use older pick up rollers.

It seems to pick up the paper fine, just seems as tho the paper is slipping through the reg rollers so the paper is late. . . . . .
If it was late picking up, it would declare the jam. . . . . .
My situation is different as there is no problems with pickup. . .
Do you have any bulletins for this machine you could email?
