I replaced the fuser. Now the first page prints fine but pauses about 10 seconds between each page after the first. And about 1 out of 10 pages does not fuse properly. I put the old fuser back in and reseated all connectors. Did it in customers office and does the same in my shop. Help.

Sounds like a bad fuser...I've had a few "new"
fusers that did the same. If you hold down the
PaperFeed button for 30 seconds to run a fuser
cleaning page does it error out before finishing the
fuser cleaning cycle? After doing this it probably
won't even try a fuser cleaning cycle again until
the power is cycled. These are common symptoms of a
bad thermistor in the new fuser. Good luck -Cope
