Feed separation on the ADF on the F-120
If you have a problem with the feed separation on the ADF on the F-120 Fax you need to open the top cover to the ADF then push inward on the two tabs that hold the lid up so you can open the lid a little more. Then pick up the black cover as far as you can. Under the black cover is a white looking strip. You must go to the middle of the strip and make a hole in the center of it. Right in the center under the strip is an adjustment screw. Turn it about one 1/4 to 1/8 turn counterclockwise.

If power goes off during memory printing / scan / receiving and comes back on, unit will appear to be damaged from surge - panel lights on, alarm light on, no lcd display, no functions.  Remove back, find jumper pin 4 on main board near top - remove, turn power on, turn off, replace pin-clears sram - a real problem with Muratec and OKI 5800s ( same as Muratec F - 120 ). Muratec claims to have update to solve this problem --- You must RE-PROGRAM all user info and settings when you do this.
