OFX 5500 laser fax
Problem: System error 05.
Solution: This error is *always* caused by the imaging unit (consumable). If this is replaced and the error persists switch the m/c off for at least 5mins then back on.

Ofx ink jet fax m/c's
On all models when a customer complains that the ink runs out too quickly remove the black pip from the top of the ink cartridge. The ink may dry up if the m/c is unused for long periods but if it is used regularly the ink will last much longer. Also, as the ink is water based, try dipping the printhead in warm water to unblock the nozzles.
